Supporting Military Families
At Camp V.O.W., we facilitate a judgment-free peer support community for military spouses, caregivers, and dependents. We understand that families serve too - often managing home life alone while veterans are abroad. That's why we provide direct support for relatives as well as tools to assist veterans.
We assist veterans and caregivers in navigating complex systems, giving respite from responsibilities, and processing trauma's impact. Our counseling, childcare, support groups, and family events allow spouses and kids to voice their own experiences while getting relief, education, and connection. Support groups and monthly gatherings allow military families to share experiences and rely on each other's strengths.
Equipping caregivers to help veterans heal and to heal themselves. By empowering families with skills to communicate challenges openly as a united front, we help nurture the entire family's mental health and relationships beyond transition.
